Visit Sheringham Museum and learn about the fascinating history of the town – once a Viking settlement and now one of the jewels of the North Norfolk coast. Inside you will find four of the town’s lifeboats, three fishing boats, a very diverse social history collection, a gallery of beautiful underwater photographs from the chalk reef just off the coast and loads of interesting artefacts.
Children’s activities, a program of changing exhibitions, quality musical performances and (if you are lucky) a chat with one of the town’s old characters make the Museum a place not to be missed. You can find details of all of our events and more general information about the Museum on our website – https://www.sheringhammuseum.co.uk.
A hint: it’s much bigger on the inside than you might expect!
