This site is available to the public. No information you consider confidential should be posted to this site. By posting you agree to be solely responsible for the content of all information you contribute, link to, or otherwise upload to the website.

 

Respect. Everyone deserves respect whether you agree with them or not. There is a difference between “I think you’re wrong” and “I think you’re an idiot” (or worse). Please refrain from engaging in personal attacks, posting inflammatory language, or antagonizing other community members.

 

Responsibility. Content that you post on the Experience Sheringham community site is your own. We strive to maintain a safe and sensible place to have discussions, but we are not responsible in any way for the content of the posts, or any actions you may take as a result of the posts. We do, however, reserve the right to reject or remove posts that violate the rules, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Every member has the ability to report content they believe to be inappropriate or in violation of these rules, how ever Experience Sheringham is the only authority on reported issues and retains the final decision. Experience Sheringham reserves the right to remove a member of the community should he or she continue to violate these rules.

 

Prohibited. Community participants may not post messages, pictures or videos that are threatening, abusive, harassing, intimidating, libelous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane, indecent, illegal or unlawful. Spam is not allowed; we define spam as posting the same message over and over or posts related to commercial promotion.

Experience Sheringham reserves the right to report unlawful behavior and vandalism of our communities to your Internet service provider or to law enforcement. In addition, we retain sole discretion to reject posts, delete existing posts, or block users from further participation at any time and without prior notice.

 

Reviews. Reviews submitted to the site for places or events must a be a true reflection of your experience at said place or event. Reviews that are deemed to be malicious or purposefully damaging to businesses will be removed. What is deemed malicious or damaging to business? A review where the author has specifically written negative or direct abuse towards a business, event or does not represent a fair overview of an experience had. We monitor all reviews for businesses and events and like to ensure good quality and a fair representation for businesses, event organisers and reviews.

  • Should you have a bad experience make sure to back it up with relevant statements and examples
  • Always be clear
  • Try to be constructive in your review, even if you had a bad experience
